An anthology issue featuring two main stories: "Saga of Steel," which chronicles the journey of a tank named Sarge from a New Jersey scrapyard through manufacturing in Pittsburgh and Detroit to deployment in Korea, where four GIs take her on a routine patrol toward Cheng-yu that turns tense as they encounter enemy activity; and "Frustration!," depicting American soldiers preparing defensive positions against anticipated enemy night attacks, with tensions rising among the men as they wait for combat and debate whether to load ammunition, fearing the enemy may not attack at all.
