In this pivotal chapter of Batman: Un deuil dans la famille, Jim Starlin's gripping narrative unfolds with emotional weight and relentless tension, as Jason confronts his long-lost mother, Sheila Haywood—only to be betrayed by her allegiance to the Joker. Jim Aparo’s powerful artwork, rendered with precision by Mike DeCarlo and colored by Adrienne Roy, captures the raw horror of Jason’s final moments, while the cover by Aparo himself sets the tone for a story that reshapes Batman’s world.
