Batman Sonderheft #9
In "Die Schlingen, die der Zufall legt," Batman finds himself trapped in a train carrying a roster of criminals, including the elusive Seliny Kyle — the Cat. When a sudden accident frees the prisoners, the Cat wastes no time planning her next heist, using her feline allies to retrieve stolen jewels. But as she moves through the shadows, even the most careful schemes can be undone by chance — and Batman is never far behind. Written by Denny O'Neil, with art by Irv Novick and inks by Dick Giordano, this 1978 Egmont Ehapa special features cover art by Dick Giordano.
In "Die Schlingen, die der Zufall legt," Batman finds himself trapped on a stranded train with a group of criminals, including Seliny Kyle—the Cat—whose escape sets off a tense game of cat and mouse. With the train wrecked and the city lights fading, both hunter and thief are forced to navigate the wreckage, where chance and cunning will determine who outlasts the other.
In "Die Stunde der Schlange," Batman and the Dämon confront the sorcerer Shahn-Zi in Chinatown, where a spell transforms Batman into a real bat—only the Dämon, as a mongoose, can stand against Shahn-Zi’s serpent form.
