Batman Nocturne #4

Batman stands shrouded in shadow against a muted crimson moon, flanked by enormous dark birds — vultures with wings spread wide — perched on and around him like grim sentinels over a brooding Gotham skyline. Ram V and Jason Shawn Alexander bring a distinctly atmospheric, almost painterly sensibility to this French-language Urban Comics edition, collected as Tome 4: Intermezzo. It's a striking visual that perfectly captures the series' moody, gothic tone.
