This Polish edition of Batman: Nawiedzony Rycerz ("The Haunted Knight") from Egmont Polska presents a striking orange-and-black cover featuring Batman standing tall in full cape, looming over a rogues' gallery of villains — including the Scarecrow, the Joker, and the Mad Hatter — rendered in Tim Sale's bold, expressive linework. The stark two-tone design by Jeph Loeb and Tim Sale (credited on the cover) gives the whole thing a noir-tinged, almost woodcut quality that suits Gotham's atmosphere perfectly. A great showcase of this creative duo's work for Polish readers in 2012.
