Part of DC's ambitious Batman Metal event, this 2018 German-language Panini collection — subtitled Die Batmen aus der Hölle — brings together work from Venditti, Williamson, Janin, Kirkham, Porter, Sharp, and Van Sciver. The cover delivers an intense three-way standoff: a hulking, armored dark Batman looms menacingly overhead while Wonder Woman charges forward sword in hand, and Aquaman rises from the churning waters behind her, trident at the ready.
