Batman - Lepakkomies #4/1966
In "Ontot haarniskat hyökkäävät," Batman takes on a chilling mystery when four air-tight cases explode after juries deliver "not guilty" verdicts. Investigating the pattern, he uncovers a shocking connection to Franklin Knott, a juror appearing on all four juries—secretly a former lab assistant of Dr. Grover, whose E-rays can manipulate minds. Written by John Broome and illustrated by Sheldon Moldoff, with inks by Sid Greene, this 1966 UK issue features a cover by Carmine Infantino and Joe Giella, blending suspense and science with a twist that redefines justice.

Batman is asked to investigate when four air-tight cases are blown when the juries involved return "not guilty" verdicts. Batman soon discovers that one juror, Franklin Knott, has been on all four juries in disguise. Knott, who is running for Governor, was a former lab assistant of a Dr. Grover, who had discovered E-rays (which can influence human behavior), and which rays Knott has been using on jury members.
