“Batman joutuu liisteriin”

In "Batman joutuu liisteriin," Batman is drawn into a chilling mystery when four air-tight cases explode moments after juries deliver "not guilty" verdicts. Investigating the pattern, he uncovers a shocking conspiracy involving Franklin Knott, a juror who's been manipulating the system from within—using mysterious E-rays, a secret from his past as a lab assistant to Dr. Grover, to sway the minds of those sworn to justice. Written by John Broome and illustrated by Sheldon Moldoff, with inks by Sid Greene, this 1967 tale from UK-Lehdet Oy features a cover by Carmine Infantino and Joe Giella.

Batman is asked to investigate when four air-tight cases are blown when the juries involved return "not guilty" verdicts. Batman soon discovers that one juror, Franklin Knott, has been on all four juries in disguise. Knott, who is running for Governor, was a former lab assistant of a Dr. Grover, who had discovered E-rays (which can influence human behavior), and which rays Knott has been using on jury members.
