About this Collection
This volume collects the opening chapters of the landmark 1990s Batman saga, beginning with the introduction of the brutal new villain Bane. As Bane systematically breaks Batman's most dangerous rogues out of Arkham Asylum, the Dark Knight is pushed to his physical and mental limits. The collection culminates in the iconic confrontation where Bane famously breaks the Bat, setting the stage for the rest of the Knightfall storyline.
