Batman: Gotham Knights #62

A bandaged, cold-eyed figure dominates the cover of this April 2005 installment of Batman: Gotham Knights, clutching an oversized syringe whose vial holds the unmistakable image of a snarling Poison Ivy — green-skinned, red-haired, and clearly not pleased about her predicament. It's a striking, unsettling composition by cover artist Cliff Chiang that raises plenty of questions about what "Human Nature Book Two" has in store. With A. J. Lieberman writing and Al Barrionuevo on interior art, this is Gotham Knights doing what it does best — putting familiar faces in genuinely uncomfortable situations.
