Batman: Full Moon #4

Batman looms at the center of this striking black-and-white cover by Stevan Subic, his masked face rendered with unsettling intensity while snarling werewolves close in from both sides and a pale full moon — ringed by silhouetted bats — dominates the background. The monochromatic treatment gives the whole image a genuinely atmospheric, almost cinematic dread that feels right at home under the DC Black Label banner. Rodney Barnes and Subic bring their dark vision to its penultimate chapter here, and this fourth installment promises no easing of tension.
