From DC Black Label comes this striking opening chapter of Batman: Full Moon, a mature-readers miniseries by writer Rodney Barnes and artist Stevan Subic. The cover — rendered entirely in high-contrast black and white by Subic — sets a genuinely unsettling tone: Batman looms silhouetted above like a dark specter with wings spread wide, while below him a snarling, shaggy werewolf charges forward out of the darkness, jaws open and fur bristling with savage energy.
