Batman / Fortnite: Zero Point #5

Five issues in, the Batman/Fortnite crossover keeps delivering — and this cover by Mikel Janín captures the tension beautifully, with Batman and a masked orange-and-black armored figure (Deathstroke) crouching side by side at the forefront, while Catwoman and several other combatants crowd behind them, all framed by crackling purple lightning around a glowing Zero Point portal. It's a striking image of uneasy alliances formed under extraordinary pressure, rendered with energy and warmth by Janín's fluid linework. Christos Gage and Donald Mustard continue scripting, with Christian Duce on interiors and John Kalisz's vivid colors bringing Fortnite's wild palette into the DC universe in genuinely satisfying fashion.
