Batman: El Detective #1
Batman: El Detective #1, written by Tom Taylor and illustrated by Andy Kubert, kicks off a gripping new chapter in the Dark Knight’s legacy with a future-set mystery that sends an older, weary Batman to England. When a Gotham-to-London flight is destroyed under suspicious circumstances—blamed on Batman himself—he teams up with the new Squire to confront the enigmatic Gentleman Ghost and protect Beryl from a deadly follow-up assault. The story’s haunting tone is matched by Kubert’s striking artwork, both in the interior and on the cover by Kubert, delivering a bold, atmospheric start to a high-stakes thriller.
