Batman Beyond #43

Terry McGinnis's sleek black-and-red Batman Beyond suit looks almost small against the massive, fur-covered form of Goliath dominating this Dustin Nguyen cover — the sheer size difference between the two figures set against a fractured cityscape makes for a genuinely arresting image. The tagline "…In the Grip of Goliath!" says it all: Terry is clearly outmatched in raw muscle, which kicks off "The Eradication Agenda Part One" with a terrific sense of stakes. Dan Jurgens, Sean Chen, and company look poised to put Neo-Gotham's Dark Knight through his paces right from the opening chapter.
