The penultimate chapter of Batman '89: Echoes arrives with one of the series' most unsettling covers — Joe Quinones renders a massive, spider-like Batman looming over a lone suited figure standing amid fallen bodies, while an enormous, open-mouthed face dominates the eerie blue-red background. The composition is genuinely haunting, blending the gothic atmosphere of the Tim Burton era with something far more nightmarish. With Sam Hamm, Quinones, Stacey Lee, and the rest of the creative team bringing this six-part story to its penultimate beat, tension is clearly at a peak.
