Basketful of Heads #[nn]
From the unsettling imagination of Joe Hill comes this DC Black Label/Hill House Comics collection, brought to vivid, disturbing life by artist Leomacs with colors by Dave Stewart. Reiko Murakami's cover art sets an immediately arresting tone: a hooded figure in a blood-stained yellow rain slicker stands in the rain, gripping a bloody axe in one hand and clutching a chain-link bag holding a grotesque, American-flag-wrapped severed head in the other, their own face lost in shadow. It's a striking, rain-soaked image that captures the series' blend of all-American setting and genuine horror perfectly.
