This anthology issue contains two main stories: the first features a wartime satire in which a character discovers a group of orange imps and becomes their commander, declaring himself "boss," but quickly loses control as they create chaos and destruction. The second story follows a rabbit character named Snippy who devises a scheme involving dynamite at a building, which backfires spectacularly when the explosion causes unexpected destruction in the city streets, ending with the rabbit blamed for the disastrous outcome.

Ham SwiftHitlerSatan

In a delightfully absurd 1945 tale from *Barnyard Comics #5*, Ham builds a machine to drill to the center of the Earth, only to pick up a most unexpected passenger—Hitler. What begins as a scientific adventure quickly spirals into a surreal descent into Hell, where Hitler takes command. When Ham returns to the surface and is met with disbelief, he simply introduces Satan, who dryly remarks, "I couldn't stay down there with that awful man!"
