Barney Rubble launches skyward on a prehistoric spring contraption alongside a startled green dinosaur, while Wilma, Fred, and Betty look on wide-eyed from a stone wall in the background — setting a perfectly chaotic Stone Age scene. Charlton's 1974 run of this Hanna-Barbera spinoff gave the Rubbles their own spotlight, and this cover, with art by Hiram Walker and inks by Richard Reichart, captures the cheerful slapstick energy the series did so well. If the story title "A Bad Day" is any indication, things are about to get a lot worse for Barney before they get better.
