Barney and Betty Rubble #6

A large, mischievous red-and-green bird has just crushed a camera with a resounding "CRACK!" while perched in a tree, leaving Betty, Barney, and Fred staring up in exasperated disbelief — with Betty clutching her own camera below as if reconsidering the whole outing. Charlton's 1973 Hanna-Barbera offering puts the Flintstones' favorite neighbors front and center in what promises to be a light, breezy prehistoric comedy romp. With artwork by Hiram Walker and inks by Richard Reichart, it's a charming snapshot of the Rubbles at their most endearingly star-crossed.
