Barney and Betty Rubble #11
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeBarney and Fred are in a spot of prehistoric trouble on Fred Himes's charming cover for this 1975 Charlton issue — the two neighbors struggle to balance a large stone-age dresser while a toy on roller skates threatens to send everything (and everyone) tumbling, much to the teary-eyed Fred Flintstone's alarm. Betty watches the chaos unfold from the background alongside what appears to be Wilma, making this a full Bedrock ensemble moment. It's a warm, slapstick snapshot of Hanna-Barbera's favorite Stone Age suburb, and "Common Scent" promises more of the neighborly comedy that made Barney and Betty such delightful stars in their own right.
