Barbie #4

Marvel's Barbie series brings a breezy, sun-soaked energy to issue #4, with cover art by June Brigman (inks by Roy Richardson) showing Barbie mid-stride against a bright blue sky, her polka-dot pink skirt swirling as she holds onto her wide-brimmed black hat and flies a cheerful red kite trailing little bow ribbons. The tagline "High Flying Fashion Fun!" perfectly captures the playful, wind-tossed mood of the scene. A delightful 1991 entry in Marvel's all-ages lineup, this one promises good spirits and great style in equal measure.
