Dynamite's Barbarella #7 brings a retro-pulp sensibility to this 2018 series, and Butcher Billy's cover delivers it in full force — a vintage-poster-styled composition featuring Barbarella's red-and-yellow-striped figure standing triumphant atop a fallen dark creature, one boot kicked loose, the bold tagline "She Came From Outer Space" anchoring the gloriously lurid aesthetic. The deliberately distressed color palette and a cheeky "Disapproved by the Comics Code Authority" stamp make this one of the more visually playful covers in the run. Mike Carey and Kenan Yarar continue the "Hard Labor" arc with Part Three inside, promising the kind of sharp, mature storytelling this series has made its signature.
