Bane: Conquest #7

The seventh chapter of this twelve-issue series by Chuck Dixon and Graham Nolan puts Bane in a tense alley standoff — the masked, armored villain crouches low with a gun in hand, demanding "Give me that child!" while a determined young woman clutches a small child tightly and fires back "Never!" with a blade raised between them. Gregory Wright's coloring gives the brick-wall backdrop a vivid, charged atmosphere that perfectly matches the desperation on both sides of this confrontation.
