Bamse stöter på en flygande matta på farmors vind, och med Lille Skutt som kompis blir det en plötslig resa till ett orientaliskt land. Där får de snabbt kläm på en misstänksam situation – men det visar sig vara ett missförstånd, och de får i stället bjuda på en fest.

Katten Jansson is roped into a scheme by the mischievous Randige Racke and Prickige Prille, who want to catch the clever Husmusen. When the plan backfires and the mice outwit him, Jansson finds himself on the wrong end of a chase—led straight into the clutches of the ever-watchful hound Buster.
