Baker Street #1
This first volume of the Baker Street series, subtitled 'Sherlock Holmes n'a peur de rien,' collects the opening chapters of a French-Belgian comic series published by Delcourt in 1999. The story reimagines the classic Sherlock Holmes mythos with a fresh artistic and narrative approach, setting the stage for the adventures of the famous detective and his companions.
Baker Street #1 (1999), published by Delcourt, features the story "L'incident sur la Tamise," written by Pierre Veys and illustrated by Nicolas Barral, who also handled inking and lettering, with colors by Scarlett Smulkowski. The issue presents a mystery set in the world of Sherlock Holmes, with the characters appearing as depicted in the series. The cover was created by Nicolas Barral, who provided both pencils and inks.
