This volume collects the Bakelandt adventure 'L'Émissaire' and 'La Trahison du Meunier,' continuing the historical comic series set in 18th-century Flanders. The stories follow the exploits of the titular character, Bakelandt, a Flemish folk hero and outlaw, as he navigates political intrigue and personal betrayals. Published by Ansaldi in 1986, this edition brings together two narrative arcs from the long-running series originally created by Hector Leemans and later continued by various artists and writers.
