Baby's First Deadpool Book #1

Few comics have committed this hard to a single gag: Deadpool — decked out in a frilly pink bonnet and diaper cover — careens through a war-torn street in an oversized baby carriage branded with his own logo, wielding a water gun while explosions erupt around him. Cover pencils by Joe Cooper and inks by Scott Koblish sell the absurdity perfectly, promising games, short stories, and lessons in manners from writer Joe Kelly. It's 1998 Marvel at its most gleefully unhinged, and honestly, the cover alone earns every cent of that cover price.
