A demon-red battlefield sets the stage for this Marvel NOW! collection, as a flaming-skulled Ghost Rider blazes at the center of the cover, flanked by a monstrous array of supernatural threats — including a snarling demonic creature, a cloaked sorcerous figure, and a fierce young woman — all looming over a determined squad of Avengers that includes Captain America, Thor, Wolverine, Iron Man, and a fiery Starbrand among others. Arthur Adams renders the collision between Marvel's street-level and cosmic heroes with tremendous energy, the cool blue lightning of the lower figures contrasting beautifully against the scorched crimson atmosphere.
