With a sprawling urban skyline behind them, this 2014 issue brings together a formidable lineup on Jorge Molina's cover: the Hulk looming large at the top, Iron Man's repulsors glowing, Black Widow armed and ready, a red-suited Spider-Woman swinging in upside down on her web, Wolverine in his signature leather jacket, and a masked figure crouched in the foreground. It's a confident showcase for the dual-writer team of Kelly Sue DeConnick and Warren Ellis, with colors by Ruth Redmond giving the whole ensemble a bold, cinematic energy.
