Avengers #26

Part of Jonathan Hickman's ambitious All-New Marvel NOW! run, this issue finds a red-costumed powerhouse leading the charge — flanked by Thor and Iron Man — as Mjolnir crackles with energy overhead and armed adversaries close in from both sides. Salvador Larroca handles interiors while Mike Deodato's cover composition wrings real tension from the trio's determined advance through a crumbling wall, guns leveled at them from the shadows. The story title, "Look Around...There's No Way Out," sets a fittingly urgent tone for what looks like a cornered but defiant team of Avengers.
