Avaruusagentti Valerianin Seikkailuja #[15]
Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets #15, published in 1991 by Jalava, features the story "Pahat unet" with writing by Christin and art by Mézières, who also handled the inking and cover pencils and inks. The issue presents Valerian and his companions in a surreal, visually rich adventure drawn in the distinctive style of Mézières.
In the year 2720, as humanity drifts in programmed dreams across Galaxity, the technocrat Xombul sabotages the dream machines and vanishes into the past—France, 1000 CE. Space-time agent Valérian is dispatched to track him, only to be stranded in a mysterious enchanted forest and rescued by the sharp-witted medieval girl Laureline. Together, they navigate a world of forgotten magic and hidden truths, chasing a man who has rewritten history.
In "Suuri keräilijä," Valérian finds himself taken by a colossal creature whose strange obsession is gathering intelligent life across the stars. Trapped in a vast, alien realm, he must navigate the mystery of his captor’s motives before the collection grows too complete.
In "Merkillisiä näytteitä," Valérian, Laureline, and two scientists investigate a planet split into four distinct zones, each with a bizarre and extreme effect—accelerating aging, reversing it, enlarging, or shrinking anything within. When the team's curiosity turns to experimentation, they soon find themselves unwittingly becoming part of the planet’s strange, living test.
