The elegant black cover of this 2025 Reprodukt release frames a charming vignette: a hulking, good-natured ork clutching a bundle on a stick strides alongside a wild-haired little figure — together they look like the most unlikely but endearing travel companions imaginable. The subtitle Gestrandet bei den Elfen ("Stranded Among the Elves") promises fresh misadventures for Aurora and her ork companion, and the ornate border of fantasy symbols surrounding the central image gives the whole package a wonderfully storybook feel. Lewis Trondheim's signature whimsy is on full display here, making this second volume a delightful continuation of the series.
