A wonderfully weird piece of French comics whimsy, this Loïc Sécheresse-credited volume from Danger Public's Miniblög line sets its tone immediately with a snarling, flame-red demon creature looming at center stage, flanked by two peculiar female figures — one red-haired and kneeling with papers in hand, the other green-skinned and dark-haired, clutching a bag. The hand-lettered banner overhead announces *Au Bonheur des Âmes* with a fittingly crooked charm, while an eerie, shadowy forest and a hint of sinister green foliage frame the whole unsettling scene.
