This issue contains two stories. "Hey Joe!" depicts a soldier named Rumford who encounters an enemy soldier in the jungle at night; after a brief struggle with grenades and gunfire, Rumford's allies arrive and the enemy forces flee into the darkness. "Why a Spy?" is a prose story about a military intelligence officer who discovers a spy has infiltrated a secret atomic weapons project; Colonel Madison gives the narrator nine days to identify the traitor among ten scientists working on the classified program, with the stakes being national security.
