Attack v1 #55

Attack #55 is an anthology featuring military-themed stories. The lead story follows a soldier caught in an intense firefight who reflects on his fear of disappointing his father while under enemy attack, eventually engaging enemy forces with his weapon. A separate feature titled "The Hutier Tactics" provides historical non-fiction about German General Ludendorff's WWI offensive strategy that briefly achieved success before ultimately failing due to lack of Allied unity and German logistical problems. Another story depicts soldiers in combat, with one soldier operating a mortar while another seeks a good position for his B.A.R., culminating in casualties among the troops.
