Charlton's pint-sized powerhouse takes on an overwhelming army of feline foes in this 1956 installment of Al Fago's Atomic Rabbit. The cover — penciled and inked by Fago — captures our caped hero rocketing forward in full superhero stride while an endless stream of cats stretches into the distance behind him, with two small onlookers below nervously wondering aloud if even Atomic Rabbit can handle "trillions" of them. It's a wonderfully absurd setup that perfectly captures the cheerful, anything-goes energy of mid-1950s funny-animal comics.
