Atoman #2

The main story, "Atoman and the Vanishing Vandals," follows Atoman as he investigates a memo from a character named Prestos about a diamond exchange at Fifth Avenue and 59th Street and a money theft at the Bowery. A well-dressed villain in a top hat appears to be orchestrating a scheme involving stolen gems and money, with Atoman working to stop the criminal operation. The issue also features a comedic backup story called "Skatter," in which a cat and mouse engage in slapstick antics involving food, with the cat chasing the mouse through various situations involving cheese and other provisions.
