Issue two of @thena Inc.: The Manhunter Project delivers a striking cover from Jay Anacleto, showing a sleek, armored blonde figure diving headlong toward a gleaming glass skyscraper at night, red energy beams blazing from her eyes against the city-lit darkness. A strip of smaller character portraits runs along the bottom, hinting at the broader cast waiting inside. Brian Haberlin's sci-fi espionage series was clearly bringing serious visual ambition to Image's 2002 lineup, and Anacleto's painted detail makes this one genuinely hard to put down.
