Astronauts in Trouble #8

Issue eight of eleven in this Image series pays loving homage to Georges Méliès' famous image of the Man in the Moon, here rendered in Charlie Adlard's striking linework as a rocket pierces the lunar face against a deep, star-filled sky. A strip of small sequential panels runs along the bottom, hinting at the chaos unfolding in "Live from the Moon Part 5." Larry Young's series continues to blend pulpy space adventure with a genuine affection for the history of science fiction storytelling.
