Astonishing Iceman #2

Part of Marvel's 2023 "Fall of X" era, this second chapter of "Out Cold" finds Bobby Drake in full crystalline form, radiating sharp lances of ice outward against a brooding, amber-lit cityscape. Jesús Saiz's cover captures Iceman with a focused intensity that makes clear this is a hero pushed to the edge of his power — and perhaps his limits. Steve Orlando and Vincenzo Carratù continue their run on one of the X-Men's most compelling characters, and the tension on that cover alone is reason enough to pick this one up.
