This Scots-language edition collects the classic Asterix adventure 'Asterix and the Golden Sickle', translated into Scots by Matthew Fitt. Published by Dalen (Llyfrau) Cyf in 2014, it follows the indomitable Gaulish warrior and his friend Obelix as they journey to Lutetia to obtain a new golden sickle for the druid Getafix, only to become entangled in a sinister conspiracy. The volume preserves the original artwork by Albert Uderzo while presenting René Goscinny's story in a vibrant Scots vernacular.
