This volume collects the twenty-ninth Asterix adventure, originally published in 1991, in which the indomitable Gauls face a new kind of threat when a female legionary unit arrives in their village, challenging their traditional ways and leading to a clever battle of wits. Written and illustrated by Albert Uderzo following the death of co-creator René Goscinny, the story explores themes of gender roles with the series' trademark humor and adventure.
