About this Collection
This volume collects the twenty-eighth Asterix adventure, originally published in 1987, in which the Gaulish hero and his friends travel to India on a magic carpet to help a young princess. The story, written and illustrated by Albert Uderzo following the death of co-creator René Goscinny, sends Asterix and Obelix on a whimsical journey filled with cultural gags and the usual Roman-bashing antics. This edition is part of Orion Books' 2002 reprint series of the classic French comic albums.
