This volume collects the second album in the classic Asterix series, originally serialized in Pilote magazine in 1960. The story follows Asterix and Obelix as they travel to Lutetia (modern-day Paris) to purchase a new golden sickle for Obelix, only to become entangled in a mystery involving a missing sickle-maker and a sinister sickle-smuggling ring. Written by René Goscinny and illustrated by Albert Uderzo, this edition is part of Dargaud International Publishing's English-language release of the beloved French comic series.
