☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThis volume collects the 14th Asterix adventure, originally serialized in Pilote in 1969, in which the indomitable Gauls travel to Hispania to return the kidnapped son of a local chieftain, only to clash with Roman forces and encounter the region's unique culture and cuisine. The story was written by René Goscinny and illustrated by Albert Uderzo, maintaining the series' signature blend of historical satire and slapstick humor.
In "Asterix in Spain," the Gaulish hero and his loyal companion set off on a daring mission across the Iberian Peninsula to rescue Huevos y Bacon from Roman captivity, following his dramatic escape from Julius Caesar’s clutches. René Goscinny’s sharp storytelling, brought to life with Albert Uderzo’s dynamic art and inking, captures the series’ signature blend of humor and adventure, all framed by Uderzo’s iconic cover.
