This sixth issue of Image's Assorted Crisis Events arrives with one of the most quietly affecting covers of 2025 — a couple standing together amid lush, blooming flowers, while the man's right half literally dissolves into scattered jigsaw puzzle pieces, hinting at something fragile and unresolved at the heart of their connection. Eric Zawadzki's linework is beautifully expressive, and Jordie Bellaire's warm golden palette gives the scene an almost dreamlike glow that makes the puzzle-piece disintegration all the more poignant. Deniz Camp and his collaborators continue to prove that Assorted Crisis Events is one of the more emotionally ambitious series on shelves right now.
