Volume 2 of this intellectually charged manga series brings together two strikingly contrasted figures on Toji Aio's cover: a blue-haired, bespectacled young man lost in contemplative thought in the foreground, while a tall, suited figure stands with his back turned, glancing over his shoulder into the distance. The visual tension between the two — one introspective and close, the other distant and enigmatic — perfectly captures the dynamic at the heart of Mikage Sawamura's original story.
