Asgardians of the Galaxy #7

Cullen Bunn's cosmic Norse mashup charges into its seventh issue with a cover by Jamal Campbell that's hard to look away from — the full Asgardians squad (including a hammer-wielding frog, a blonde warrior woman, a young winged-helmet figure, a goggled fighter, and a heavily armed mercenary type) hurtles toward the viewer while an enormous, glowing-eyed creature looms ominously behind them. The banner teasing "War of the Realms is coming in 1 month" adds a genuine sense of mounting stakes to an already action-packed lineup. If you've been following this title for its blend of Asgardian mythology and galaxy-hopping adventure, this issue looks like a satisfying payoff on the way to something even bigger.
