Judith is part of the five-man crew of the "North Star", her father's fishing boat. The crew includes Alex, who had started working as a cabin boy for her father ten years earlier. One night during a violent storm, the "North Star" is hit by a yacht. The crew is all saved, but the "North Star" is lost. However, on board the yacht, Alex and Judith seem to find their ideal romantic companions.
